Langley’s Old TomGin
The Langley’s brand is all about classic, timeless and quintessentially English gin products. Old Tom is exactly that – we’ve taken a classic recipe and redeveloped it for the modern era.
The origin of the name “Old Tom” name is believed to date to the 18th century when unlicensed gin sales were illegal. With gin production “going underground”, drinkers would need to look for wooden plaques in the streets, or on on the walls of watering holes, carrying the picture of a black cat. They would insert a coin and a shot of gin would be poured down a pipe and out of a hole underneath the cat’s paw. For more information visit www.LangleysGin.com
A more botanically intense and slightly sweeter style of gin. The sweetness is gained from adding natural sugar.
